Old business Ken Sherman is looking for web site suggestions. The new software requires recreating all files so won’t be used. Paula and Shirlee have money for the treasurer. Bryan Douros will hand-deliver.

New business Jim Grenier has two headsets for sale An associate of Jim’s has a single-seat HighMax ultralight kit (no engine) that he will give away. Needs to get rid of it by the end of the month. Declined as a chapter project, but any interested individual should let Jim know.

Joe Orlando has random parts (tubing, etc) to give away since he’s cleaning house

Beverly suggested that the chapter might want to join the Marlborough and/or Worcester Chamber of Commerce. Many other EAA chapters are members of the local CoC. Questions were raised regarding fees and requirement to attend meetings. Beverly will check into those issues and report back at the next meeting.

Trailer improvement project: $350 donations and a half dozen willing volunteers. Motion for additional $100 from chapter treasury (if needed) approved. In absence of Rich Olsen, send donations directly to Christine. She will coordinate the work schedule by e-mail so let her know if you want to help out.

Chapter officer elections are coming up in October. If you’re interested in running, let one of the current officers know.

Dudley Darling invited members to participate in the Patriot Golf Day, running through Labor Day weekend Aug. 29 – Sept. 1 at Juniper Hill Golf Course (and other locations). Provides donations to families of veterans injured or killed in Afghanistan and Iraq. He is trying to arrange fly-overs at some courses around the country.

50/50 raffle won by Bill Purcell – $9 to him and $9 to the chapter.

Meeting adjourned at 7:35 pm.
