For pilots’ convenience, Bob Stetson will schedule a technician to come to the field. Talk to Bob if you would like your plane to be among those checked.
I Learned About Flying From That: Jim Noone reminded us that when hand propping, always act like the engine will start even if switches are off, because it could and did start on him due to a broken P lead wire. Rich Olsen reminded the chapter of recent changes to the Washington DC ADIZ.
Old Business: Columbus Day cookout had a low attendance and provided $21 for chapter coffers.
Air Rally is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 20th. Lunch will be provided. Please RSVP to Rich if you will be participating (olsenmtnest@verizon.net). Two flights (fast/slow), pilot chooses which to participate in.
Toys for Tots is scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 2nd.

The memorial plaque was updated at the Columbus Day cookout.
Trailer windows – acetate would run ~$180. Film/tape only about $15 per year but has to be reapplied yearly. Voted to try film for a year and see how well it works.

Members voted for Bill and Ken to investigate possibility of moving to another host, with a backup plan of renewing for one year at existing host. A second vote authorized up to $90 for as many years as we can get with whatever host.
