Program Report. October speaker will be LaVerne Reed, FAA New England development director. Our membership should be on the lookout throughout our flying travels for interesting personalities to present at our meetings. We should decide on a program frequency. Monthly? Or skip the summer? This was left open for future discussion.

New Members and Guests – Peter Pulianski, Joe Valentine and Jeff Ferguson.

2007 Chapter Dues are payable during October and November. Please send these to Richard DuPee.

Young Eagles – Saturday September 16 is the next Young Eagles Day at 9B1. We are awaiting a head count.

Yard Sale is this Saturday (9/16) as well. Please expect to attend at 7am for set up. More importantly is the necessity to have some help around 2pm for clean-up.

Professional Development. The July Engines Program will be repeated at 9:30am on October 7. December 9th will feature Test Pilot Parameters.

Old Business:

Air Rally: (TBA) will be on a date following the October meeting.

Holiday Dinner: second Tuesday of December at the Marlborough Country Club.

Bob Hanlon reports that 5 chairs were found under the trailer. These are possibly ready for refurbishment.

New Business: The secretary position is open. Anyone interested in providing meeting minutes is welcome to help out. We are also looking to fill a board member position.

Christine Pulliam wrote an article about 9B1 was accepted for publication in The Atlantc Flyer. Way to Go, Christine!!

Chapter Member Eric Brown is asking the chapter to support an educational day with the Girl Scouts during the summer of 2007. This would entail working up a curriculum, and filling with activities for the day. Flying the Scouts is probably not an option based on historical knowledge of Girl Scout requirements.

Sunday, September 17 fly-out destinations: Cranland (pancakes) and Myricks (fly-in).

50 – 50 raffle won by David Clark. $16 donated to the chapter. Thank you!!
