News from 9B1 – We continue to be vigilant for airport interlopers. Please wear your ID badge whenever on airport property and report any suspicious activity.

I learned about flying from that….. Have you ever flown to an airport and seen the big “X” over the runway (i.e. Shirley)? This can be avoided by simply calling FSS prior to your flight to check weather and notams.

Old Business.. The EAA trailer has a single coat of paint on the interior. A second coat is needed. The outside needs to be painted, and Jim Grenier has found a compact heater capable of heating the trailer in the winter.

New Business. A trailer workday is scheduled for October 8. A Columbus Day impromptu cook-out will happen on October 9.

Remember: September 24 will be the Air Rallye. Rain date the 26th. Be there around 9am.

The EAA Chapter Yard Sale will be on October 22. The Young Eagles will fly that day as well.

The 50-50 raffle was won by Peter Kallander. $8 was donated to the Chapter.

Meeting adjourned at 8pm.
